LEFTOVERS

An Elegy to the Foodhall Proejct

LEFTOVERS is a compilation of lessons we learnt as a community whilst organising the Foodhall Project over 8 years from 2015 to 2023.

The report / zine / elegy was drawn together based on a reflective process that happened in April 2023. Over 3 sessions, key people involved in organisnig Foodhall came together to think about our time together as a project as well as what we’d learnt.

Slowly but surely through the rest of 2023, a small group of contributors to Foodhall pulled together the discussions from these workshops into LEFTOVERS. The report aims to generalise the lessons learnt so that other grassroots communities, whether working on food or beyond, can share in and apply what we learnt.
