Lates
Lates are Foodhall’s community-led arts & culture events - showcasing the best of local, up-and-coming talent. We provide a platform with a DIY ethic for new, underrepresented and socially relevant artists to do their thing, usually on a Friday evening. The events are produced by a Working Group of volunteers and coordinators who meet monthly.

All events are B.Y.O.D. (bring your own drink), with a suggested donation OTD of £7 - we don’t turn anyone away for lack of funds. In turn these donations go to support Foodhall’s running costs.

Knowledge & skill-sharing is central to Foodhall’s mission and, as a branch of Foodhall, Lates is no different. We aim to be able to help people learn collectively about working together, putting on events, writing funding bids, setting up musical equipment, and a variety of other skills.
