Foodhall Plates #24: A Diasporist Seder

A motley crew
Of diasporist Jews
Warmly welcome you
To our Passover do

Pesach (or Passover) is the Jewish festival of liberation. The Seder is a ritualised recounting of the liberation story of the Jews escaping ancient Egypt. In this Sheffield focused, diasporist Seder we will celebrate liberation stories that have been won and commit to fighting for the liberation that's still yet to come.

Importantly, a Seder is also a big ol' communal meal, so we will uphold this ancient tradition by enjoying some delicious food together! Menu forthcoming, veggie/vegan.

Plates are open to all, and run as fundraisers for Foodhall. Anyone can host one - get in touch if ur interested.

Suggested donation £10. No-one ever turned away for lack of funds.

Unfortunately our toilets are not wheelchair accessible.
